A SCOT has captured the bizarre moment a man leads two others around a local IKEA whilst they are dressed as dogs – complete with wagging tails and collars. Alan Watson captured the footage whilst visiting the furniture store in Loanhead, Midlothian yesterday (SUN) with his wife Leigh. The 41-year-old couldn’t believe his eyes when he noticed three men nosing around the shop’s canteen, with two of them clad in dog masks and wagging tails. The video shows three people looking around the area by the store’s canteen whilst seemingly chatting amongst each other.

In the bizarre video clip, a man dressed in normal clothing leads two men, both wearing leather dog masks with tails attached to their backs that appear to be wagging, through the cafe.
Edinburgh IKEA customers were left baffled on Sunday afternoon when they visited their local store for lunch and spotted a shopper walking two men dressed like dogs through the store cafe.
The local customer was with his wife on January 15 when they stopped in the IKEA cafe for a bite to eat.
But the couple were left lost for words after witnessing a man walking to other grown men dressed like dogs through the shop in front of kids and other families.
In the bizarre video clip, a man dressed in normal clothing leads two men, both wearing leather dog masks with tails attached to their backs that appear to be wagging, through the cafe.
One is wearing a red costume with a matching mask and tail along with a black hoodie with dog paws printed on it which suggests they could be part of some club.
The other who walks in front of him is wearing a black and white mask and tail with mostly regular clothing.
They continue to walk through the store casually and most shoppers don’t even seem to notice the odd scene.
Alan Watson who captured the odd video told Edinburgh Live: “I was just having lunch at around 1pm in IKEA with my wife when I saw the two guys dressed like dogs walking past with their friend or dad.”
Adults who dress as dogs like this are also known as furries. The furry fandom is a subculture interested in non-human characters conveying human characteristics such as walking on two legs, wearing clothes and displaying human emotions.
Many in the community take part in role-play while dressed as a “furry” and that can sometimes entail going out in public while wearing the costume.
Although many think it is a sexual fetish more often than not dressing up like animals is a fun escape for a community of people who enjoy expressing themselves in this way…
